What I'm Thankful For: Running Edition

Even with this year being a dumpster fire (to say the least) I have a lot to be grateful for. My family, my friends and of course running.

In the spirit of it being Thanksgiving this week I thought it would be fun to do a full on running edition since after all, running is why you are all here 😉

Running Thankfulness in No Particular Order:

  • Running in general because without this sport I feel like half of us would have wayyyy to much time on our hands (Really what would we do without having to dedicate so much time to our long runs?)

  • Carbs, carbs, carbs and of course---CARBS

  • Being able to text my sister when I have a good or bad run and she always makes me feel better!

  • Hot coffee before, after and always helping fuel my runs.

  • Shoes that don't feel like medieval torture devices (Shout out to Mizuno!)

  • The community that I've created on Instagram to further feed my running obsession

  • This blog 😊 I'm so happy I finally took the plunge to do it!

  • Pretty running tops that make me feel like I don't look like a sweaty gasping spazz while I trudge out my miles (Rabbit tanks for the win!)

  • Podcasts and playlists that get you moving, grooving and shaking. (Check out my other post HERE for some of my faves)

  • Running strollers that only make you feel like you're pushing half a semi truck while it screams at you for more goldfish. (I use a BOB)

  • The RRCA for having online classes available during the pandemic

I am thankful for each and everyone of you who has read my posts, followed me, liked/shared my post and overall have just been awesome. I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving (however it may look this year). Enjoy and cheers!
