I always think of the Cha Cha slide when I say this....Slideeee to the left, slideeee to the right, Criss Cross!!!!
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and be flexible but there are a few things that really grind me gears.
Two of my biggest pet peeves is people not paying attention and not being aware of their surroundings.
I wrote a post earlier this week about almost getting hit by a car while out on my run and I'd be lying if I said it's not still bothering me. To top it off I almost got ran over by a bike w
g aware. If I had a dollar for the amount of times I've had to move over for people I could probably buy my own street to walk around people free. Don't get me wrong I don't mind moving over sometimes but when I see someone with their phones glued to their face and I have to move over with the kid and the stroller I just don't get it.
Now obviously I will move over for other strollers, elderly, younger kids, etc. but if you are walking by yourself and not paying attention you better believe that I'm going to be salty.
I realize that it's not anybody's job to move over but it would be nice for more people to do it on their own. I usually always try to move assuming that the other person won't which is 99% of the time and while I usually just brush it off, but this week just got to me.
Do you always move over for others? Do you feel like everyone is our for themselves?
No judgement, no angst (despite what the headline may imply)----I'd love to know!!!
Promise that this vent is over, maybe 😋
